Damp Proof Course Repairs
The damp course is usually installed at the base of your home’s walls during initial construction to prevent damp from the ground exploiting the porous brickwork leading to rising damp. The damp course should be a minimum of 150mm above ground level but can fail for a number of reasons including deterioration or not having been fitted properly in the first instance. If you begin to spot signs of damp in your internal and external walls starting from the skirting boards on your internal walls, then you need to have your damp course fully inspected and repaired.
